OH, GOOD GRIEF! 'Charlie Brown' is our Winter Page2Stage show, featuring some of Chicago's finest professional actors. Based on Charles Schulz's Peanuts cartoon script. An average day in the life of Charlie Brown. Though considered a "good man" by his friends, Charlie Brown can't seem to win the heart of the Little Red-Haired Girl, nor his friend Lucy, her crush, the piano-playing Schroeder. Meanwhile Snoopy and Linus daydream and the rest of the friends battle with kites, school, baseball and misunderstandings before finally coming to realize what makes them truly happy. Written in 1967 and successfully revived on Broadway in 1999, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown connects us with our favorites from the Peanuts gang. Perfect for all ages, this production, featuring wonderful songs like “The Kite,” “Suppertime,” and “My New Philosophy,” promises NEVER to yank the football away at the last second!
Directed by Jerry R. Foust
